Youth Talent Showcase • Fa La La La La Holiday Market • November 28–29, 2026, 11 AM–4 PM • Virginia Beach Sports Complex Arena parking lot

1. 1.Participation. I am the parent or legal guardian of the performer named on the application and give permission for them to participate in the Youth Talent Showcase at the Fa La La La La Holiday Market, November 28–29, 2026, at the Virginia Beach Sports Complex Arena parking lot.
2. 2.Eligibility. The performer is 9 to 17 years old, and I am giving this permission as their parent or legal guardian. Performers outside that age range cannot enter the showcase.
3. 3.Supervision and presence. A parent or legal guardian must be present with the performer for the entire time they are at the market — check-in, waiting to perform, the performance itself, and pick-up afterward. Performers may not be dropped off or left in the care of event staff.
4. 4.Photos and recordings. I understand the market and performances may be photographed, filmed, and recorded. I give the Fa La La La La Holiday Market permission to use photos, video, and audio of the performer to promote the event — on its website, social media, and printed materials — at no charge.
5. 5.Assumption of risk and release. I know that taking part in a public event carries some risk of injury or loss of personal property. I assume those risks and release the Fa La La La La Holiday Market, its organizers, volunteers, and the venue from any claims arising from the performer’s participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
6. 6.Medical care. If my child is injured or becomes ill and I cannot be reached, I authorize the market’s staff to arrange basic first aid and, if needed, emergency medical care. I accept responsibility for any related costs.
7. 7.Conduct and event rules. The performer will follow the instructions of event staff and the showcase rules. To keep the show safe and on schedule, organizers may adjust, pause, or end a performance.
8. 8.Judging and prize. Performances are judged by the market’s judges, and their decisions are final. The $500 grand prize is awarded once, to one winner, and may be changed or withheld if the rules are broken.
9. 9.Truth of information. I confirm the information on the performance application is true and complete, and that I am 18 years or older and the performer’s parent or legal guardian.
